I heard back from UnoTelly support, they were asking me to change how I blocked the google DNS servers. I had a static route directing them to my routers IP. I have instead directed them to an unused internal IP Address and everything has started working again.

UnoTelly offers both a Smart DNS and a VPN service and has been a preferred method of unlocking “geo-blocked” content from Netflix, Hulu, and the BBC for quite a while. But recently, content providers have been cracking down on Smart DNS services, and this has affected UnoTelly quite a bit. I went to cancel my Unotelly subscription after the website redesign, but on picking "Netflix stopped working" as a reason the site linked to the region picker and said to pick USA Test 2 and 3, or USA Test 4 and 5, then reset browser cache, update your IP address and you should be golden! The Smart Wifi settings will allow you go to Connectivity, then Local Network, and enable the DHCP server, which then allows you to manually enter static DNS settings. However, in reality, the router ignores them. Hi, I used to watch Hulu via Unotelly using their DNS intercept service, but this stopped working a few weeks ago. Their support has not been helpful.

My home is now fibre-ready and I'm looking at ViewQuest / MyRepublic, as both offer a static IP V4 addresses, and I figure I could set up the UnoTelly DNS on the routers and be done once and for all. I'm aware that ViewQuest offers a VPN service but that's 10 bucks a month while UnoTelly is 5 bucks a month and I can use it when traveling too.

Prob best not to change the router DNS rather just change the DNS settings for the particular device you want to work. This way all your DNS requests dont end up going to them. Also, to check if U.S Netflix is working just look for Star Trek TV shows, there isnt any in Netflix.ca yet. London DNS server 178.62.32.60 is currently experiencing some issues. Apologies if this is off topic, but, not surprisingly, Unotelly stopped working for Netflix for me, and I'm stuck with local Netflix only. Unotelly site has very little info at the moment. I know Netflix was talking about lowering the boom on DNS and VPN services, presumably, it's happened. I'm not familar with the Dlink DVG N5402SP but it should just be a question of going in to the section where you can setup up static routes and point any calls to 8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4 (Google DNS) to the UnoTelly DNS servers. See the setup as on my Linksys.. My VPN service is not from Unotelly but some other company but since Unotelly put the hand , i am hopefully you guys can work together on this issue cos not just Unotelly but alot of 3rd party VPN/DNS are facing this issue. I have seen guides whereby they force all Google DNS redirects to UnoTelly. I do not want to do in this case , because I trust Google over UnoTelly .
